The patterns of interior and exterior space permeate the environment of the human figure. Tender, yet slightly macabre, the artwork is beautifully haunted.

Holly Ann Scoggins ( formerly Holly Sailors) was born in a small abandoned cotton mill town in Western North Carolina. She is a recent resident of New York City and currently an artist and professor working in the mediums of Painting and Printmaking in Florida. Scoggins received a Bachelor of Fine Arts from East Carolina University in Painting and Drawing in 2009 and an Masters of Fine Art from the New York Academy of Art in Painting and Printmaking in 2012. Scoggins has received artist training at the University of Georgia, Savannah College of Art and Design, and Penland School of Crafts. She has Studied at the Lamar Dodd School of Art in Cortona Italy, and and with the Liepzig international art program in Leipzig Germany. Scoggins has exhibited regionally and internationally in solo and group shows. Scoggins is currently a Professor of Art at Polk State college teaching beginning and advance painting, drawing and design.
